چکیده

A novel voltage-modulated direct power control (VM-DPC) is first designed for a back-to-back (BTB) converter in the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) system. The proposed VM-DPC built stator stationary reference frame (??). method uses simple feed-forward and feedback structure without phase-locked loop Park transformation. Therefore, it can be easily implemented BTB converter. Another essential advantage of that transform closed-loop DFIG system into linear-time-invariant one, which analyzed through multiple linear techniques. guarantees exponential stability stiff grid as well weak-grid integration, proved based on eigenvalue analysis. Simulation results demonstrate has faster transient response than conventional vector-oriented (VOC). Also, maintains satisfactory steady-state performance at same level VOC. robustness against distorted voltage conditions parameter mismatch also tested. Finally, strategy validated an experimental hardware prototype 7.5-kW operating real time.

Sliding-Mode-based Improved Direct Active and Reactive Power Control of Doubly Fed Induction Generator under Unbalanced Grid Voltage Condition

This paper proposes an improved direct active and reactive power control (DPC) strategy for a grid-connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind-turbine system under unbalanced grid voltage condition. The method produces required rotor voltage references based on the sliding mode control (SMC) approach in stationary reference frame, without the requirement of synchronous coordinate...

Direct Power Control for Doubly-Fed Induction Generator Using Indirect Matrix Converters

In this paper a novel DPC strategy for Doubly-Fed Induction Generation (DFIG) based wind energy generation system with Indirect Matrix Converter (IMC) is proposed. The DPC with IMC deals with several main characteristics which makes it very suitable for DFIG. By suitably selecting switching pattern, the strategy is able to improve the steady state and transient response behaviors of the machine...

Lyapunov-Based Robust Power Controllers for a Doubly Fed Induction Generator

In this work, a robust nonlinear control technique of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) intended for wind energy systems has been proposed. The principal idea in this article is to decouple the active and reactive power of the DFIG with high robustness using the backstepping strategy. The principle of this control method is based on the Lyapunov function, in order to guarantee the global ...

VSC-based direct torque and reactive power control of doubly fed induction generator

This paper proposes a novel direct torque and reactive power control (DTC) for grid-connected doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) in the wind power generation applications. The proposed DTC strategy employs a variable structure control (VSC) scheme to calculate the required rotor control voltage directly and to eliminate the instantaneous errors of active and reactive powers without involvi...
